How Are You so Far?

It’s the first day of the first month of the last quarter of the year. In other words, we are at the last phase of 2009 again and soon, we will bid goodbye to it and say “Hello!” to a brand new year. Looking back to the last nine months of this year, I can say that there have been tremendous blessings from the Lord. Sometimes, we have this tendency to take the daily miracles in life for granted, simply because we think that they are just ordinary. But for me, everyday that we are alive and well is reason enough to celebrate the goodness of God.

Last year was when I settled down into my new life here in England. For this year, it is more of learning to thrive in the new environment I am in. Every single learning that I have, every bit of information that I get that can potentially make my existence better, I welcomed with open heart and arms. Every new friend that I met during this time, I have held on to dearly and tried my best to keep because they are now the new individuals that are in direct connection with my life here.

So far, 2009 has been good. There were a few setbacks but I consider them more as blessings in disguise. Life can be likened with an arrow being launched. An archer has to pull the arrow back for a while so that he can launch it well into the air. Sometimes, when we suffer minor setbacks, it is best to just think of them as God pulling us back to launch us to greater heights.

I think this year for me is more on blessings from God. Those bad things happen to me this year, i just consider them as my strength so i can stand up and do better than i did before. =D So i think we are just the same on how we look on our daily living. =D

Hi Mathe. I am glad to know your 2009 has been good. There are lots of significant things that happened to me this year. I redeemed my independence since I got my driver’s license more than a year ago…so this year I have learned to be more independent and is able to go to places now that I haven’t been to just on my own.

Early this year I also launched Lovely Moms Cafe website and I enjoy writing more because of various opportunities to write and earn online.

I have become more confident about myself as a parent and as a person. I have discovered more abilities in myself and possibilities to explore to be a better person, wife to my hubby and mom to my kids. Life is getting more and more beautiful each day. Good luck my friend and God bless you and your family.

Toni! I am also working on regaining my independence via that route (being able to drive on my own).

I am so happy for all the wonderful things that have been happening to you. Just continue to grow as a person, ok?

      Thanks!
