A New Life in the Midst of Sadness
by mathe | Saturday, June 27th, 2009 at 9:15 am | Life as I See it |Hello! HotMomma is back! While this site’s appearance has yet to be finalized, I can’t wait to start posting and so, here I am celebrating HotMomma’s new life by welcoming you all! I have big hopes and dreams for this site and I hope that you all can join me in this next phase of my journey as a blogger.
If you notice, there are categories above, just under the banner, from which you can choose what you want to read about. “Uncategorized” would be where all the previous posts in this site’s former home would be. Henceforth, all posts will be categorized to make it easier for you all to choose which topic to read. I welcome all comments from you my friends and I hope that they are all constructive and for the further improvement and enhancement of HotMomma.
Sadly, though, while I am celebrating, two big stars of my generation, Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett have just left this world. These two stars have, in one way or another, helped define our era – the 70’s and 80’s, when big hair, sexy girls, shoulder pads, high quality music and disco were the norm. With these nostalgic thoughts come to me feelings of sadness for the tragedy their lives have turned out to be.
Tributes are being made to MJ all over the world. What is sad is the fact that these tributes have come too late for him to be uplifted, encouraged, understood. A tragic life, indeed, that nevertheless shed its brightest light to us through his musical genius.
FF, meanwhile, remains in our minds as the sexy pin up girl with the most-copied hair do, regardless that her fall as a star was marked by addiction, failed relationships and futile attempts to make a come back.
HotMomma joins the rest of the world in mourning these two stars who both died on Thursday, 25 of June 2009, just hours apart.
I hope to post of happier stuff next time, guys. See yah!

fatherlyyours, thanks for dropping by as well. yes, these are sunflowers all over my page. it is my favourite flower in all the world! they follow the sun from its rising until it sets. it tells me a lot about how Christians should live their lives – always focusing on the Son.
I did not know you really really like sunflowers, but I assumed that you like them all over the blog.
Anyway, this comment sends out an email when you click that small “reply” button to each comment. It initiates discussion and it’s possible through the use of a plugin.

Gem! Yehey! I am liking my “new” blog as well. I think I should post about you and your services one of these days, just to give the readers an idea how this blog came to evolve into this current look. You are introducing me to a lot of cool widgets I would otherwise not know about at all. Thank you so very much!
