Happy Weekend!

At this stage of my life, I can say that I live for the weekends. Well, nothing much happens during weekdays for me anyway, except for the school runs and my part time job. It is on weekends that my life gets exciting, my adrenaline gets pumping and my joy multiplies.
I get to spend two whole days with the kids. I get to cook to my heart’s content – my only limitation being our capacity to consume everything as we do not like throwing away food at all. I read and write anytime I want and I get to do the laundry, which is fairly easy with modern technology.
Of course, there’s church on Sunday morning, which I am always excited about. For the rest of the day, we just hang out and goof around.
Sometimes the Nintendo Wii gets used…
with so much passion and intensity.
Sometimes, we go out and have fun but most of the time, we are content just being together at home sleeping,
eating,
getting into each other’s nerves
and being a normal family.
I wish for the same simple joys for all of you, my dearest friends.
