Hello Mathe,Happy happy birthday. May you have more to come and more successes in all of your endeavors. You've written beautifully about a wiser perspective in life. I like most especially your realization that life isn't life without those - strewn toys, right after tidying up, dirty laundry, etc. - these are necessary parts of living and should be "enjoyed" and not turn you into a cranky person.

We have to enjoy instead our time with our kids and tolerate their childlike imperfections (being untidy, etc.)

I have read an anecdote about a father who got mad upon seeing his son playing marble on the floor, and then getting angrier when he saw him with his socks on.

The kid was simply being a kid but the father failed to see this at that particular moment and had wanted his son to act like an adult person. Telling him to "stop playing on the floor as his socks an clothes will get dirty," etc.

Luckily during the night,as he was looking at his son sleeping, he realized that he was just an ordinary kid who wanted to play. And this realization made him cry and he vowed that from then on he will allow his kid to enjoy his childhood, (and to play with him even) To h__...with dirty socks and soiled clothing.

Hurray for you Mathe, don't bother so much on your sala set being messed up and your carpet being soiled; enjoy instead your time with your loved ones as time passes by so swiftly.

Take care and all the best.

Musing about life is important to get a hold of things when life takes a unexpected turn. People need to step back and look at life and think about it. I found some good articles on
inspirationforliving.wordpress.com
